Niche Automotive Company Grows Capability and Product Line

March 10, 2008

Since the late 1970’s Bowles Fluidics Corporation has served the automotive industry through its core product – the fluidic washer nozzle. The company has grown by providing excellent, responsive support and technical capability. Since its inception Bowles has produced over 1 billion nozzles, enough, if laid end-to-end, to literally circle the globe. Each year Bowles adds to its experience and expertise by producing over 45 million nozzles and 4 million hose assemblies at its factories in the US and Mexico. Today, Bowles is expanding its scope from just the washer nozzle, by adding washer system fluid flow elements such as check valves, clips and hose assemblies to their product line.

Adding to that, Bowles has drawn on over 30 years of fluid dynamics experience to produce an innovative washer system pump to extend their product offerings. This new pump provides superior pressure and flow characteristics and offers both packaging and cost saving advantages in a breadth of washer system applications.

Bowles' design, with its higher efficiencies, lends itself to meeting Federal and customerdriven requirements. In addition, employing the patented Bowles dual outlet valve solves common operational problems, such as spurting, priming and high speed performance.  The higher pressures produced by Bowles' patented pump design dramatically increases fluid exit velocity, positively affecting C-Zone coverage and dynamic cleaning. In many vehicles this can be achieved simply by changing to their pump although further optimization of the spray is possible when their pump is used in conjunction with their industry leading nozzles.

Sustaining a healthy financial footing and growth throughout 2009, Bowles has positioned
themselves both technically and ably to proliferate the use of their new pump throughout the automotive industry.
