Corporate Headquarters

Our corporate headquarters is located in the heart of Columbia, Maryland. Located between Baltimore and Washington, D.C., Columbia was named Money magazine’s #2 “Best Place to Live” for 2010. Our building offers office space for our project engineers, designers, and managers. Multiple labs hold generic and specialized testing stations, environmental chambers, and measurement equipment. We have on site machine shops as well as a tool and die shop. The majority of this facility is dedicated to production, including injection molding presses and fully automated assembly, test and quality control systems.

Mexico Production Facility

In 2006, Bowles opened a second facility in Zacatecas, Mexico, where the majority of our assembly now takes place. Originally founded as a silver mining town in the 1500's, Zacatecas is located in the mountains of central Mexico.  In addition to lowering our costs, the Zacatecas plant greatly increases our capacity.

International Distribution Facility

Since 2007, Bowles has shipped products made in our Mexico facility from our Laredo, Texas distribution facility.  With our proximity to one of the largest international crossings in the United States, we are able to reduce lead times and lower shipping costs.  Additionally, because of location in the middle of the country, we can ship internationally from either coast.

Detroit Facility

Our Detroit field sales resources include a dedicated automotive business manager and project engineer through which we provide on-site or launch support, product presentations, vehicle test guidance, price quotations and development assistance
