Windshield Washer Nozzles

At the heart of the fluidic nozzle is a unique fluid logic circuit or chip. Working closely with your team, our engineers can determine the spray pattern that best suits the particular vehicle. These variables including flow rate, distribution of fluid and the position of the spray on the glass can then be “designed in” to the chip. In this way precise, consistent cleaning performance and quality is guaranteed and costly line-side adjustment of the nozzle is eliminated.
Conventional nozzles squirt fluid to a fixed spot on the windshield and rely on the wiper blade to distribute the fluid. This means the wiper runs dry until it hits the fluid – increasing wiper blade wear. Also, since the fluid is spread by the blade it has no time to penetrate the dirt before being wiped away. The result is smearing that takes additional wiper cycles to clear. The unique fluidic nozzle, on the other hand, actually oscillates the washer fluid across the windshield to provide a large coverage area. This “pre-wets” the entire wiper pattern and works to loosen the dirt and debris, providing a more complete cleaning with less wiper blade wear
